We often get asked this question and in this post I will attempt an answer.

Used tiny baby clothes are difficult to sell. Many people want new items or receive items as gifts or second hand from friends or family members. When customers want to buy used, they expect to pay very little. This makes it impossible to reward points at a fair value for an item, while still being able to sell it at a reasonable price.

Then why do you see a Newborn-9 month section on FlipSize?

Often flippers are not sure about the exact rules of flipping, and include these items, especially those in the 6-12m range. At this time, we are rewarding points for the items provided that meet our No Dud Standards, but typically let the flipper know to not send below size 12m in the future.

Will FlipSize ever open up to accepting smaller items?

At this point, we receive plenty of small items by accident, and don’t plan to open it up. This is always a possibility for the future.
