You know what’s the worst? When you spend time, money, and energy to make a purchase, get it home and it doesn’t turn out to be what you expected. It’s happened to me and it sucks.
I know you want t o receive high quality clothes when you shop at FlipSize, that’s why we have a “No Dud” promise.
When cruising around www.flipsize.ca you may have noticed this on our website but not known exactly what it means. In this email, I’ll explain our “no dud” promise.
Every item in our store goes through several hands-on evaluation processes.
- Items are carefully inspected before we buy them from our sellers. Anything with a flaw is either not accepted, or, if the piece is just super awesome besides a tiny flaw – the flaw is noted in the description on the website.
- When clothes get under our super bright photography lights, a flaw that was missed before occasionally jumps out at us. If this happens (though we’ve already paid for the item), it gets put in the dud pile instead of being put on the website.
- As orders are being packed they are very carefully inspected again. If an item with a flaw somehow slipped through step 1 and 2, and made it onto your order, you will receive a full refund for that item. Then, that item get’s sent along with your order anyway and you can decide if you think the fully refunded item is wearable or not.
So you can be comfortable that what you see at www.flipsize.ca IS what you’re going to get.
You might be wondering what happens to all those clothes that have small flaws (usually items are declared duds due to small stains, holes, or piling) but are still wearable. They are donated to kids who really need them. Currently our flawed items are being given to a group that is traveling to Guatemala soon. These clothes will help kids who have very little.
